Day 1: Arrival
You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to either The River Tree Country Inn or Lake Duluti Serena Lodge for overnight.
Day 2: Arusha National Park
Today you have several options: (1) Full day game drive at Arusha National Park; (2) morning at leisure; or (3) visit to an open-air market-place to enjoy a taste of Tanzanian culture, the opportunity to interact with locals, and do a little shopping.
Dinner and overnight at The River Tree Country Inn or Lake Duluti Serena lodge.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park for a hot lunch, followed by evening game viewing or a walk with local people (Maasai) around the Camp. Dinner and overnight at either The Maramboi Tented Lodge or Tarangire Treetops Lodge.
Day 4: Tarangire
Full day game viewing in Tarangire. In the evening you return to your Tarangire Camp, either The Maramboi Tented Lodge or Tarangire TreeTops Lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today offers a life-changing program: Meet and Greet the Locals. We compress a typical Tanzanian day into a few hours to give you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of an average Tanzanian. You may possibly cook and enjoy a meal with a local family; prepare or test a local brew; or walk to the grocery market to purchase local produce to cook and eat. We allow enough time for you to experience Tanzanian life through the five senses in the hope that you will leave with a memory to cherish for the rest of your life. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Manor, The Plantation Lodge, Kitela Lodge or Ngorongoro Farm House.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing, then return to your same lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Drive to the famous Serengeti National Park, enjoying an en route game drive. Arrive at The Serena Lodge, Kubukubu Tented Lodge or The Four Seasons Lodge for dinner and overnight. Or, in the Serengeti, you may opt to experience one of the luxury tented camps: Oleserai Luxury Camp, One Nature Luxury Tented Camp or Pioneer Camp; you may also choose a semi-luxury tented camp such as those provided by the Katikati Camps chain.
Day 8: Serengeti
Full day of game viewing in the Serengeti.
Day 9: Serengeti
Full day of game viewing in the Serengeti.
Day 10: Departure
Today you transfer from your lodge to the Serengeti Airstrip for your flight to Arusha where you will connect to your International flight or travel on to Zanzibar for your beach holiday.
